ISRAEL-PALESTINE-LEBANON: WE CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE CALL FOR AN IMMEDIATE AND CONTINUED CEASEFIRE, AND AN END TO THE TERRIBLE ACTS OF VIOLENCE AND LOSS OF LIFE ACROSS THE REGION

It has been a year since the October 7th attacks, whereby the world witnessed the escalation of violence with no end in sight. We empathise with our students who are feeling desperate for peace across the region. And with the potential of that conflict to spread even further with regards to Lebanon, we urge more than ever for the conflict to end.

We previously released a statement regarding the support for an immediate and continued ceasefire. We continue to stand by that statement. In addition, we will continue to listen and engage with our community and work together in finding resolutions with UAL.

If you are personally affected by the conflict, or have very close connections to the region:

  • Contact the Dean of Students, Mark Crawley.

  • If you have witnessed any hate crimes on campus, in the form of written speech and imagery or directly from people, you can report this via  UAL Tell Someone. They can be named or reported anonymously.

Arts SU Advice Service

You can come to our Advice Service  at any point for free, confidential advice. They may also be able to support you with submitting Extenuating Circumstances (ECs) if you need to do this.

UAL Mental Health Service, Counselling & Chaplaincy
